Winter Haven Police continue to investigate a serious vehicle crash at Boys Club Rd. and Havendale Blvd. One infant child, strapped in a car seat, was ejected.
Three occupants, including two children, have been airlifted to Arnold Palmer Medical Center, one victim by ground to Winter Haven Hospital and a fifth by ground to Lakeland Regional Medical Center.
Preliminary investigation indicates the driver of a Chevy Cobalt pulled on to Havendale Blvd. from Boys Club Rd. into the east lane of travel and was impacted on the drivers side by an east bound Ford Expedition. (The three airlifted were inside of the Cobalt)
At this time all lanes of Havendale Blvd. continue to be shut down.
